lol@ food is a high motivator for these guys,.... so true, so true, i crate my 7 and half week old puppy, every 2 hours i take her outside, and use a baby wipe to stimulate her like their mothers do with a command "park", but just a few swipes , and she'll squat and go i stand quietly and wait for her to do both of she wants to play i turn my back on her and ignore her until she goes, i do not play with her outside, that time is for "potty only", for now. lots of praise and yes a treat!!!

Wow I drove today with my dad all the way to Napanne, In (I live in South Bend) and I got lost finding the place where I was going to buy a German Sheapeard for about two and a half hours and when I finally bought my dog I told my dad it was all worth it.

Just got an 8 week old puppy today. I tried dipping his pee in the puppy pad, but he didn't learn yet. After all, just got him today, he'll learn soon.

if you have an access to a backyard, you can get them potty trained outside in the first place so you don't need all this.
